My Bucket List!

MY BUCKET LIST!

So, today I am going to talk about my bucket list. At least the first section of it… I am going to tell you about 15 things that I want to do before I die:

Number 1: Go travelling – I have planned out many countries that I want to visit and it includes Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and many more.

Number 2: Start a Business – I want to open a small bakery when I am older, it’s something that I have wanted to do since I was little.

Number 3: Conquer my biggest fear – My biggest fear is fear of heights and I really want to get over it.

Number 4: See the northern lights – This is something many people witness and I want to be one of those people.

Number 5: Get a degree – I want to go to university and get a degree in Microbiology.

Number 6: Learn another language fluently – I just think it would be awesome if I could go to France and just speak fluent French.

Number 7: Write and publish a book – This is one I am currently working on and it will probably take years to finish, but at least I have started it.

The next five are purely for the adrenaline rush:

Number 8: Go Scuba Diving
Number 9: Go Skiing
Number 10: Skydiving
Number 11: Go Bungee Jumping
Number 12: Go Surfing

Number 13: Climb a mountain that isn't in the UK – I have climbed Snowdon before, which is in Wales but I would really like to climb a bigger mountain in the future.

Number 14: Visit an active Volcano – I don’t know which volcano I want to visit, maybe one in Iceland.

Number 15: Get a PhD – this one links in with Number 5, I have always been someone who wants the best education and I think a PhD is a perfect example of it.

So, that is 15 things that I want to do before I'm old… Hope this inspired you to write your own bucket list, I think it will force me to explore the world and therefore allow me to enjoy my life that little bit more.

Music And Stuff

Music

Its means different things to everyone, it’s such an individual thing. People respond to various musical icons in different ways, you have the fangirls whose life’s mission is to meet their favourite artist; there are then those who love the music for the music. I have never met anyone who doesn't enjoy it. That love for a favourite song, the tap of your foot to a catchy beat and humming along to a tune that won’t escape your mind.

In my opinion without music I wouldn't have much. I play four instruments as well as loving others music. I play the guitar, ukulele, piano and the violin. I have been playing the violin for 8 years and the others for about two years. For my sixteenth birthday, last December I got a new ukulele and I love it to pieces. I got this ukulele an Epiphone Les Paul:

I have two guitars, a Fender Squire Stratocaster and an Ibanez TCM50E-VBS which I love so much.

I also have two violins but they are not that interesting, I have a normal, Acoustic violin that is Italian made (Primavera) and an electric one that I got for Christmas a while back.

One of my favourite instruments that I have is my piano (It is made by Leswein) ; it’s an upright piano that I was so lucky enough to get for free about a year or so ago. In total it cost my parents £140 to move the piano from the previous owner’s house and to get it tuned. I was so lucky to get it for free, the previous owner just wanted to get rid of it and to be honest I am glad they didn't want it because it meant that I could have it.

So, that was a quick overview of what music is to me and what instruments I have and play.

Hiya...

Hiya,

To start with here are the basics. I have been thinking about writing a blog for about a year and I have decided to take the leap and start writing. My name is Katie, I am 16 years old and I live in the UK. I hope to post regularly about a load of stuff because I can’t seem to think of a valid topic... It will more than likely be about food and music as I can see myself rambling on about all those sorts of things.

So, that's really all for now.
