The perfect brownie

Ingredients:

- 185g Good quality dark chocolate
- 185g Unsalted butter
- 40g Cocoa powder
- 50g White chocolate
- 50g Milk chocolate
- 275g Caster sugar
- 85g Plain flour
- 3 Large eggs

Recipe:

      1)  First, put the butter and the dark chocolate in a bowl and melt them together. To do this I placed a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water.

      2) Whilst the chocolate and butter are melting, weigh out the flour and cocoa powder and using a sieve mix the two powders together.

      3)  At this point the butter and chocolate should be melted. Take the bowl off the heat and allow it to cool.

      4) Whilst the mix is cooling, weigh out the caster sugar and using an electric whisk mix on a high speed for about 8 minutes until its light and creamy.

      5) Next, chop the white and milk chocolate into rough cubes.

      6) When all this is prepared, carefully, using a wooden spoon mix all of the components together and pour into a tin.

7) Pour into a tin lined with tin foil.

      8) Place in the oven at 180 degrees c/ gas mark 4 for 30-35 minutes.

Types of people in exams

Hiya, so I have just finished my GCSE exams and because of this I have been unable to sit down and write any post so I am sorry. However, all my exams are over and I now have about 3 months free before I start college. So as my first post after my exams I thought I would discuss the different type of people during the exam period.

Types of people during exams:

The over reviser

These are the sorts of people that are constantly revising. Now, my friends may say that this is me put I promise it isn’t. The over reviser is the sort of person that is so stressed that in the last few days before the exam they spend every minute with their face in a book. I do revise a lot and I will admit that but I think that I would go crazy if I looked at the same revision book for about 12 hours a day.

The Non reviser

This is the complete opposite of the previous one. This is that one person in the year that doesn’t pick up a revision book once! Not a all, they just don’t revise and this can go one of two ways. Some of these types of people get straight A’s, they just get really good grades because they are able to blag the whole paper. However, it can go the other way, some people who don’t revise, they just fail everything and then when it comes to getting the results they go around moaning that they failed. I mean really, if you wanted to do well in school then you would revise! I mean, really…

Those who just don’t go to their exam

Now, these people tend to be very arrogant. These are the sorts of people that don’t turn up to the exam because they just can not be bothered. Their excuse is that they woke up, couldn’t be bothered so just stayed at home instead. I mean are you really jeopardising your education because you cannot be bothered leaving your bed?

Those who finish the test in ten minutes

These are the sorts of people who just walk into the exam looking like their world has just ended and they sit down in their chair and just stare at the floor. Then, when the exam starts they open the paper, answer the first few questions, throw their pen on the desk and put their head on the desk. They then precede to not touch the exam paper again until the very last minute were they quickly shuffle through the pages, scribbling down random words. These are the sorts of people that I don’t understand.

The Pen Clicker

I personally think that pens that you click should be banned from exams because you have that one person in the exam room that just sits there for the whole exam just clicking their pen constantly. It get so irritating that it gets to the point were you just want to stand up and throw a chair at them. Well, maybe not that extreme but you get the idea.

The after exam moaner

These are the sorts of people that when the leave the exam room they feel the need to tell everyone how terribly bad they have just done. These people are normally the same people that I discussed in number 4. These people annoy me because for the majority of the time they have done fine on their exam but they are seeking attention and that is the part that bugs me. If you don’t think you did well in your exam I am sorry but you don’t need to broadcast it around the school.

I hope that you can relate to some of the people and if you have just had exams good luck for your exams.
